PACIFIC SWIMMING ALL-STARS, 2012
Catherine Boles (13), Maddy Delore (13), Ben Krause (18), and Morgan Truong (17) have been chosen to represent Pacific Swimming in prestigious All-Star Meets in August.
The North American Challenge Cup (NACC) is the most prestigious All-Star Meet for Pacific Swimming Age Group swimmers. Pacific Swimming has long been regarded as one of the toughest and most competitive Local Swimming Committees (LSC) within USA Swimming. Swimmers chosen to represent Pacific Swimming at the NACC have the opportunity to compete against their international counterparts from Canada and Mexico, as well as the top swimmers from Pacific Northwest Swimming and Southern California Swimming.
Coming off of strong swims at the recent Santa Clara International Grand Prix, Catherine Boles (13) and Ben Krause (18), have both been chosen as members of Pacific Swimming's NACC contingent that will travel to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada to compete. This will be Catherine's second consecutive year to be chosen for the NACC team, having traveled to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico as part of the team last summer. Morgan Truong (17) is currently a First Alternate for the NACC team.
The Western Zone Championship concept was designed to offer age group swimmers an LSC All-Star experience against swimmers from other western states, including Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawai'i, Oregon, Utah, and Wyoming.
Maddy Delore (13) has been chosen to represent Pacific Swimming at the Western Zone meet for the second consecutive year, having traveled to Clovis, CA as part of the team last summer.
Good Luck Catherine, Maddy, Ben and Morgan!
