Since 1925, the Far Western Swimming Championship has provided one of the fastest and most prestigious venues for age group USA Swimming.

1,778 elite athletes from across the United States and Canada converged in Morgan Hill, CA, March 29-April 1 to compete in the short course age group championships.

Olympic and World Champions, including Michael Phelps, Janet Evans, Pablo Morales, Summer Sanders, Natalie Coughlin, and Missy Franklin all competed in this fast meet as age group swimmers.

This year's meet drew many of the top USA Swimming age groupers, including many who are ranked in the Top Ten nationally.

The Islanders' own Catherine Boles, Arron Clavin, Maddy Delore, Ben Krause and Morgan Truong qualified to swim in this meet, and Catherine, Ben and Morgan swam fast enough to qualify to swim in the Finals (top 10 finishers from the preliminary heats):

Both times are new Islander team records, breaking her own previous records.
